I can really relate, since my son was at Children,s in the Blue Nursery fro the first five months of his life. He too has had brain surgery twice. Hi Joey my husband Don and I my name is Dottie saw u on tv this morning Sept 1st and we think you are the sweetest boy. You look alot like our grandson Danny. We hope you continue to gain on the seizures and that soon there won't be anymore. Our grandson Danny is 9 yrs old he was born with celebry palsy and he has made great strides. He rides a two wheel bike and has been since he was 4 like you.He also doesn't have use of one hand but he opens it with his good hand and wraps it around the handle bar of his two wheel bike and off he goes. So glad u got a nice bike with your name on the plate I hope it makes u happy. You seem like a nice boy give your mom a kiss and tell her thank you for all she does to help you be the best that u can be and stay strong and know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers Love Dottie

Hi Joey, glad to hear you are doing well, I have a grandson,named Alex, Alex is 5-1/2 yrs old and also has epilepsy. He has had 70% of the the left side of his brain removed, however he is still having nasty seizures. The doctors want to do more surgery.

Joey, I have a little boy who is 19 months who also has right-sided hemi-plegia. He wears a splint on his hand just like you. I heard of your story from my sister who watched the John Walsh show. I would love to hear more about your progress and how you woe all the ladies. My son's name is Gerrit and he to is also a big ham that loves attention and to make "Cheese" at all the cute girls. His story is a little different than yours. He had a massive stroke when he was still in my tummy. We didn't know until he was nine minths also. He started having seizures and was put on steroids to try and stop the sezure activity. He doesn't walk or even bear any weight on his legs yet but he is working on it daily with all of his therapists and teachers. It is hearing stories like yours that helps me continue my weekly routine of therapy, brushing, and worry just to know that he will walk someday! Thank you! Mrs. Dixon
