This picture of Joey was taken just days before his first seizure on July 20, 1999. See for yourself ... he was just a normal little boy looking for something to get into! And what a great job he did and still does with that! Mommy thought she had her hands full then, but Joey was about to let her know exactly what that meant.

They waited for Joey to get out of the hospital before we celebrated Christmas. You can see, they were very happy to have their little brother back home.

Joey & Ashby. Kendra had told her parents all about Joey, so when her dad, Ashby, was in town on business ... he just had to meet the little cutie that had stolen his "little girls" heart! We had a wonderful visit and dinner at Children's with Kendra and her daddy.

Kendra has Joey in a stander. He is having fun shooting hoops but at the same time ... his legs are being kept straight by special cloth braces. This is strengthening his legs muscles so that he will learn to support his body weight and be able to walk on his own, again.
